Après-ski in Le Brévent & Chamonix

Chamonix's reputation as one of the liveliest apres-ski resorts in the Alps is justly deserved. With numerous bars, and even its own micro-brewery, you will find somewhere to cover every taste.

Apres-ski tends to take place at the bottom of the mountain or in Chamonix itself with the exception of events put on for the Chamonix Unlimited Festival.

The closest Apres Ski venue to Le Brévent is the Folie Douce which is on the Savoy nursery slopes and has live music starting around 3pm. For a later apres-ski party venue, you can head to the legendary Chambre Neuf from 6pm. If you prefer a more tranquil apres-ski scene then there are plenty of quiet and cosy meeting spots for a vin chaud and a chat.

Here are a couple of bars we’d recommend:
  • Bar du Moulin | Sophisticated wine bar often hosting late night DJ sets
  • Bar d’Up | Great value, causal bar with regular happy hours and Sing Star nights
  • Beckett & Wild | Traditional Irish sports pub with a great atmosphere for all the games
  • Beer O’Clock | A place for beer lovers with a wide variety of beers
  • Bighorn | Excellent tailor-made cocktails and a great selection of craft beers
  • Chambre Neuf | The winter Apres Ski bar with live bands from Sunday - Friday.
  • Elevation | French bar popular with mountaineers and extreme sports enthusiasts with a excellent terrace
  • La Folie Douce | Renowned for its apres-ski parties and live music, 4pm - 8pm.
  • La Maison des Artistes | Wine bar within a jazz music venue for budding artists
  • Pointe Isabelle | A good place to enjoy a quiet vin chaud or a generous cocktail with friends
